“The Attic” just came out and I am already hard at work on the next album. Several songs have already been completed for it and the artwork is also practically finished. There are two or three more songs still that need to be finished before the album can get ready to be released, but I’m hoping that won’t take too long.

A name is still being decided for the album and progress is still not far enough along to have a release date picked yet, but I am hoping it will be out at the end of this year or the beginning of 2012. We will see though.

The New Government

We are pleased to announce that, for the very first time, The New Government by Xynx is finally available for purchase in the shop!

Xynx is a side project worked on by Alex Seifert in collaboration with other artists. The project produces electronic dance music and is a slightly different direction from what Alex Seifert normally creates.

Production was done by me with the help of a few others and the wonderful artwork was done by Scottish graphic designer, Stuart Leak.

I am very pleased to announce that we now have an official release date for “The Attic”! The release date will be June 24th, 2011.

You can already see the album’s tracklisting and artwork as well as listen to the songs from the album online on the site’s music player. The only song you cannot listen to yet is the new song, Dschungel. You will have to wait until the 24th before you can listen to that track!

Alex has asked me to post an update about the status of the shop.

The first piece of news is that Under the Bed is now available in the shop! The rest of the albums that aren’t there yet will be there soon. All of them have been submitted and are currently being processed by Apple. Hopefully we will see them show up in the iTunes Music Store soon.

Work on t-shirts, hats and other merchandise is still being done. We are hopeful that they will arrive in the shop soon. As soon as they are there, we will post an update here, so please check back regularly to see when the items will be available.
